Over the summer I had the pleasure of heading back to Sandpoint ID for some fun sessions – it is hard to not want to make it back up there this fall/winter to see everyone again. During my time there I was able to photograph a girl.

This girl…. the last time I saw her, was just in middle school, adorable, sweet, kind and very athletic. I could not believe my ears when she said she needed to get senior photos done. WHhhhaaaatt?! Wow- I felt so aged! I still could not grasp that she was a senior….. in HIGH SCHOOL! She was just a little girl the last time I got to see her.

When she got out of her car to meet up with me in downtown Sandpoint- I could not believe my eyes. Not only was she like 9 feet tall (not really that tall) but she is GORGEOUS!

Miss A was still a little shy- but we had fun as we cruised around town, sneaking into ally’s and making her laugh as we walked the docks. I have this major fear of water… and docks. We closed out our evening that night by ending up in a field in Dover Bay- soaking up the sun and talking about dreams and goals.

This girl…. she will move mountains!

Here is a sneak peek into our session together.

My favorite part of the session together… we were out in this field- I was guiding her in the light on how to pose. This guy in a big blue truck comes driving by, sticks out his BIG camera out the window and just stares for a bit. He freaked out a little but it made me laugh that he would show us his camera. Like us girls were suppose to just scream with envy lol.
