Living up here in the Inland Northwest, we have many beautiful things to surround ourselves with. Trees, mountains and lakes are the few things you can get lost in by just sitting and looking at them.
Recently a new family that had moved to Coeur d’Alene area, was wanting to do some photos of their family and their little guy in preparations for their Christmas cards. The fall weather can tend to be tricky as you just don’t know if you are going to get rain, sun, or even snow, but on this photo day, we lucked out with some beautiful Idaho fall weather.
By accident I found a little tree farm, Carrousel Christmas Tree Farm, just off of Cougar Gluch Rd. It is simply just adorable out there and the trees were all Christmas-y fluffy. I had a quick moment to talk to the owners and I was shocked to hear that already they had so many trees marked for this years customers. Around the property they have a pick up/load area, walking paths, a gift shop, and a big beautiful barn. There are 9 different tree lots and each one named adorable Christmas names such as “Candy Cane Lane”, “Rudolph’s Grove” and more. Each year they get around 5,000 visitors to their tree farm. It really is a special little place to visit. So this year, if you are looking for a special tree for your home or business, stop by Carrousel Christmas Tree Farm and visit Don & Peg White.
