So many times we can take things for granted but the simple look at a newborn, to see those tiny beautiful details, puts life back into perspective. How miraculous this is! When I look at these babies ( and everyone I am blessed to meet) I fall in love with them. I treat them with love and respect as the gracious gift they are. I easily get lost in those tiny details… the curled fingers, toes that like to stretch, lips that curl and those soft wrinkles that form with every movement they make. It is simply breath taking.

I have had the pleasure of watching this family grow and grow and I am so grateful for each memory I have been able to capture for them. I truly do love them all.

For their newborn session, I was able to travel to their home once again and stay true to my heart and core- and capture those sweet babies as they are. A wonderful and talented friend came along to do something so amazing…… Before you go any further, turn off your tv, turn up your speakers, grab a warm cup of tea and some tissues…. and enjoy.

God touched our hearts so deep inside, our special blessing multiplied.

Now, check out some of the images from 2 beautiful babies

I have not been big into collages for a while but I thought these images were perfect together lol

** A & L, Thank you SO very much for allowing me into your life to capture your family. I love you all! **

Did you hear??!! There was a burst of TWINS lately. How wonderful and exciting is that??!!!

I was so happy to be able to capture these little peanuts- but they sure did make me work LOL. These cuties were 7 weeks old and were very picky how they liked to be touched. For one, they didn’t enjoy being next to each other… That was actually funny. I really enjoyed seeing 2 different personalities just ooze out of them. The other thing that made me work was the fact that they loved having their legs stretched out- trying to make them curl… LOL forget about it.

But one thing I was able to really see- was who they were in all of their beauty. Those tiny details of who they are… The fuzz on their little chunky faces and the curl of those tiny fingers.

Newborn sessions are one of the trickiest things one can photograph- that I know. But each one of them is so special and such a gift. And I am one lucky and blessed girl to be able to capture those beautiful moments!

Twins!!! Everytime I see a set of twins- so many thoughts (good ones.. and ok scary ones) go thru my head. Like all the love you will get… all the kisses, hugs, sweet soft touches…. and then there is the diapers, the crying, the sleeping – less… Like with every child, there are good things and then the not so fun things…

These 2 girls tickled me so much. I was so amazed on how different they each were. I know they are different people – inside and out, but it ALWAYS amazes me when I get to see it! Miss A- likes to have her space… she did not enjoy her sister crowing her- which just makes me giggle. I guess she thought she had enough closeness being together in the womb. She was ready to have her space! And she is a smart- stubborn girl.. She knew EXACTLY what I was doing and after a while she was not playing my game.. That girl WOULD NOT look at the camera. But as soon as I took it away from my face, she would look at me and smile!! Made me laugh!… But Miss C- she LOVED the camera… either that or I looked really funny to her!! To save my self esteem I am gonna go with the liking the camera bit!

This session was a very special one, because Miss A FOUND HER TOES :) I just melt to goo when babies play with their toes.. Gosh- I just love those babies!! Once Miss A got a hold of her toes.. she did not want to let them go!! And Miss C- she loved her fingers.. even her sisters fingers – if they got close to her mouth!! This was such a cute fun session!

Here is a sneak peek into our day!

I love my toes :)

I love my toes :)

twinsBack awhile ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a special mom that was TWICE blessed. She was blessed with twin boys and was due soon! We completed her maternity session and I waited and waited and waited for that phone call/ text to say that they have arrived safely and healthy. I was so happy that they did arrive both safely and healthy. Now I couldn’t WAIT to see those sweet babies. I was skipping for days when our session was booked!!

The day finally came when I was invited into their home to capture this sweet bundle of boys. My heart and uterus went all to mush when I saw the babies… So small, so sweet and so precious. I was also amazed on how similar yet so different they are.

We started our session and I quickly learned that baby C did NOT liked to be messed with. Now he was happy as a baby on a boob if he was cuddled with, but try to do anything with him or MOVE him and he let you know that he did NOT like it!!! It actually was kind of funny – just to see a personality so tiny and new but strong! Now, baby J, was cool as can be! He slept the whole time and seemed happy as can be! He did not mind a bit being kicked, prodded, layed on, or anything. He was just….perfect!

I enjoyed myself so much being with those babies. In fact,  I left their house wanting my OWN set of twins. I mean how wonderful it would be to have these fuzzy, tiny, loving babies.. one for each arm to snuggle with. ……….But as soon as I got home and listened to all the kids screaming, crying and running a muck through the house, I quickly changed my mind!!
