I had a great session the other day – in the beautiful sun. But let me tell you… that wind was BLOWING. My eyes are so sensitive in the wind that it looked like I was crying during the whole session. I guess I could have played it up by saying… “she was so beautiful, that I cried with joy”… hehehe I’m a dorkfish.
Meet Miss N. She has the cutest dimples
We had a good time at Dover Bay- enjoying the scenery and the sun. Even the wind gave us that nice model hair.
N- thank you so much for coming to see me. I had a good time with you
I am excited for your new adventures after high school.

An Accomplished Senior | Sandpoint Photographer

It seems that I have been photographing this family for years. I am sure it hasn’t been THAT long, but I have watched this young lady grow up in her teen years- so beautifully!
I was very excited when I got the call to do her senior photos and when I learned that she is ONLY 16 – I was flabbergasted! (Ha! I used a big word
You should be so proud of me!!) This young lady has accomplished so much. So much in fact that I feel like I have accomplished NIL – compared to her!! I know I havent really.. I mean I mother 4 kids, a husband, a dog… that it self is a HUGE accomplishment!
Miss T plans on being a christian writer and from what I have heard- She is GREAT at it. I told her she should start a blog and share her short stories so we all can read them! I know that I will be on the lookout for her first published book. And by the sound of it, it wont be long! Can you imagine getting your own book published BEFORE you turn 18?!! That would be awesome!
I had a lot of fun with Miss T and her mom. I haven’t seen her mom in a long time so it was nice catching up on life and chatting. She was also a great help with getting Miss T to pose and smile. Poor thing didn’t know what to expect as we headed out for our photo adventure. I should warn everyone that YOU WILL GET MESSY during any photo session LOL. But I was a lady and offered her my jacket when she had to lay down.. aren’t I so sweet

This is my FAVE picture. It says so much to me! She is so purtee!!

A little bit of sunshine to brighten the day!
Miss T- thank you for having fun with me! I really had a great time with you and you were such a sport for putting up with my “adventure”!
A few years ago I had the pleasure of doing some senior photos for a very beautiful gal that attended a Christian school near here. Last week, I had the pleasure of doing her brothers senior photos!
I will admit that working with little bitty children and girls – to then working with a TEEN guy, was very tricky for me. I had to watch the way I talked to him and make sure I didn’t do any of my goofy silly faces for a laugh! I guess that was a reality check to myself that I needed some more adult conversations that did not circle around the potty, snacks, boo-boos, or the ever so popular, “mommy, she’s touching ME!!!”
I did have a good time with Mr. C as we strolled thru Dover to find some nice spots. There were a couple times where may gracefulness was testing me. We could have counted numerous times where I almost fell, tripped, and stumbled. But we both survived our session without getting dirty or falling in water.
Mr. C, thank you so much for letting me do your photos. I hope you have a SUPER senior year and I wish you nothing but the best in your life’s journeys ahead of you!
God bless!
