We were finally able to make it back to Sandpoint and I was FINALLY able to photograph some amazing families!!

This family has such a HUGE place in my heart and I have seriously been their photographer since her first baby… *sigh* makes me all tear eyed just thinking about it. Not only have I been able to capture this family grow, but also a great friendship had formed. I am going to miss them all so much!!

**A, L, E, O, G, & H… thank you so so much for inviting me into your lives to capture some precious moments. I love you all!! **

If you have been following my facebook page you saw that I posted “good news good news” and then I statement that I wanted to have a girls night out!!

Well I received news today that we are moving to be with hubby…… moving NEXT WEEKEND!!!! I know I know.. CRAZY, but in our family- FAMILY is important and we need to be together. I applaud and cry with those moms who have spouses that serve in the military and moms that have their hubby’s gone for work. I know its hard- very hard- especially when you have kiddos. I have many MANY emotions going on right now including fear, excitement, joy, nerves- you name it.  When it comes down to it all, we need to be together as a family- so that is what we are going to do.

For clients… No worries..  I will be traveling back and forth a few times to do sessions so you CAN STILL BOOK SESSIONS but those of you who wish to not wait for my return I have a list of WONDERFUL close photographers that I HIGHLY recommend. These girls are like family to me.. each one so super talented and special and I KNOW without a doubt you will be taken care of.

Without further ado here are my besties!!

Michelle Glasser – Meshelle Photography ( Newborn goodness)

Amanda Norisada- Norisada Photography (children/ family and those adorable videos!)

Amy Henderson – AMy Henderson Photography (Family/ senior/ Weddings)

Bethany Chamberlin – Bethany Chamberlin Photography (Family/ senior/ weddings)

Crystal Beck- Crystal Beck Photography ( the most adorable themed sessions ever)

Marie – Dominquie – Sandpoint Photo ( AMAZING stuff!!!)

I wish there was something I could do to let you all know how much I SO love you all and how much I appreciate each and every single one of you. You have supported me for so many years. I have enjoyed so much meeting all these beautiful babies, watching them and families grow. You all have a place in my heart and I pray that when I do get to come back to Sandpoint that I will get to see you all again!!

I am very excited for our new adventure and to see what God has in store for Jax Creations Phototgraphy. I pray that Dickinson North Dakota welcomes me as much as you all have.

I love you all :)

Well I clearly have a problem with doing this…. I have no idea why… I mean I feel like I have a permanent butt mold in my computer chair but I just can’t seem to keep up with daily photos. I almost feel like someone should stone me.. but that’s a little harsh :)

So I am going thru my recent collection of images that I recently took.. but *sigh* neglected to actually put them somewhere besides on my camera card. I am going to make an auto post on here that will post a POTD daily for me :)

So once it runs out, please feel free to nag me and remind me.

I have been yapping for a while about how HAPPY I have been on this new- true- direction I have been taking. My fellow photog friend asked me what exactly I am doing.. well… to put it plainly.. I am following my true heart- my true self. I have tried fitting my square self into the popular circle of photography and after some good conversations with some great people… I am just going to be me. After all, I am the best ME :)

So what EXACTLY does that mean for sessions?? Well, as much as I love my props, you won’t find many of them in photos. Instead you will see the real reason~ LOVE.

The reason why I truly love newborns is for everything that they are. All that fuzz, wrinkles, curled lips, stretched toes and urber soft skin. I love watching who they are and how they move. I love seeing the love ooze out of mom and dad as they hold and just admire this little miracle they have. It truly is something that will leave you speechless and covered in goose bumps.

I am now mixing natural light and studio light into all my current sessions. Natural light portions will be nothing set up. Its just you and that sweet babe doing what you do best- loving each other. In this mixture it is not about composing a perfect image for a print competition or to impress other photographers.. these are to remind you for years of this precious time of your life. After all, it all passes way too quickly.

This last session I went OVER BOARD on images and as much as I want to share ALL of them, these are special just for mom.

*D- thank you so much for letting me capture lil Miss A. She is so sweet and adorable*

So many times we can take things for granted but the simple look at a newborn, to see those tiny beautiful details, puts life back into perspective. How miraculous this is! When I look at these babies ( and everyone I am blessed to meet) I fall in love with them. I treat them with love and respect as the gracious gift they are. I easily get lost in those tiny details… the curled fingers, toes that like to stretch, lips that curl and those soft wrinkles that form with every movement they make. It is simply breath taking.

I have had the pleasure of watching this family grow and grow and I am so grateful for each memory I have been able to capture for them. I truly do love them all.

For their newborn session, I was able to travel to their home once again and stay true to my heart and core- and capture those sweet babies as they are. A wonderful and talented friend came along to do something so amazing…… Before you go any further, turn off your tv, turn up your speakers, grab a warm cup of tea and some tissues…. and enjoy.

God touched our hearts so deep inside, our special blessing multiplied.

Thank you so very much Amanda for creating such a beautiful gift. I am so excited of this journey and see so many wonderful things happening. To see more of Amanda’s work, go visit her and tell her that I sent ya :) She is the sweetest thing!

Now, check out some of the images from 2 beautiful babies

I have not been big into collages for a while but I thought these images were perfect together lol

** A & L, Thank you SO very much for allowing me into your life to capture your family. I love you all! **

A friend has been inspiring me with her own Photos Of The Day.. I have to say that I am very guilty of not using my camera more for my own personal use. Ugh- G U I L T Y. For some reason it is so hard for me to pull it out and capture my own crazy life- maybe its because I feel like I am in that Groundhogs Day Movie- where things repeat over and over again lol.. you know… MOTHERHOOD!

Ya’ll feel free to nag me to post my POTD every day- it will make me get off my bum and have some personal family fun!

Summer and Fall seems to be the biggest time of year for family photos.. .and why not, I mean  you have sun and fun cute clothes you can wear… and water, sand and just fun. BUT, lets not forget one of Sandpoint’s beautiful seasons… WINTER. Winter family photos can be a lot of fun. So what if you have to bundle up in snow gear- go play in the snow and enjoy Gods work in the winter!!

Last week I was so HAPPY to have some NICE winter weather so we headed to Dover for some fun! As any kids would at this age, they weren’t too keen on doing photos at first in the cold, but after a few minutes of just being silly and enjoying our surroundings- I was able to get a ” that was fun” comment!!

It was so nice to be able to get out and enjoy that sun that day…. it was perfect.

Here is a sneak peek into our session :)

just getting a little help from sister lol

As a mom of boys myself, this photo just makes my heart just melt. I love the way he is looking at his momma!

** H- I am so glad I was able to see the kiddos again. I can’t believe how time really has flown by. I had a great time and look forward to our next adventure**

Oh this little one made my heart skip beats.. She is SO stinken adorable!!! I really could have just snuggled with her all afternoon- if she would have let me. And her parents… Oh my goodness – the sweetest couple. I do have to brag a little about her daddy- it always melts my heart when a dad acts like a daddy :) This daddy was so in love with his daughter- he took such great care of her and was so gentle and sweet. Everything he did, he did to perfection with her – to make sure she was safe, protected and loved. I hope when she grows up she will remember how much her parents love and cared for her on her first photo shoot- seeing that relationship made my year. I love seeing parents love their babies. Being a parent is so re-rewarding… ok and a little stressful, but hey- that’s what chocolate is for right :)

** J & K, thank you so much for letting me capture your little one- I really enjoyed meeting all of you **

Did you hear??!! There was a burst of TWINS lately. How wonderful and exciting is that??!!!

I was so happy to be able to capture these little peanuts- but they sure did make me work LOL. These cuties were 7 weeks old and were very picky how they liked to be touched. For one, they didn’t enjoy being next to each other… That was actually funny. I really enjoyed seeing 2 different personalities just ooze out of them. The other thing that made me work was the fact that they loved having their legs stretched out- trying to make them curl… LOL forget about it.

But one thing I was able to really see- was who they were in all of their beauty. Those tiny details of who they are… The fuzz on their little chunky faces and the curl of those tiny fingers.

Newborn sessions are one of the trickiest things one can photograph- that I know. But each one of them is so special and such a gift. And I am one lucky and blessed girl to be able to capture those beautiful moments!

I feel like waited so long to see these little babies.. Each day I was in full anticipation to hear the news that they were here. These babies- just like their brothers- are so loved with so many family and friends. And if there was a such thing as a SUPER mom- this mom is it!! I admire everything about her!! She is my mommy idol!!

Well because those babies had their own idea of how they were to enter the world, they were delivered at Bonner General Hospital and I was blessed to be able to go in and capture some Pure Moments of these two miracles!
