I feel like waited so long to see these little babies.. Each day I was in full anticipation to hear the news that they were here. These babies- just like their brothers- are so loved with so many family and friends. And if there was a such thing as a SUPER mom- this mom is it!! I admire everything about her!! She is my mommy idol!!

Well because those babies had their own idea of how they were to enter the world, they were delivered at Bonner General Hospital and I was blessed to be able to go in and capture some Pure Moments of these two miracles!

With a house full of boys ( and a pre-teen daughter who doesn’t let me dress her up) I get all gooey when baby girls come into the studio. Yup, you will find me in the corner loving on them.

This little peanut took her sweet time getting here- but she was well worth the wait!!

Nothing is as precoius as meeting a brand new baby!!!!!!! I don’t think I will ever get tired of seeing new babies.

I had the pleasure of photographing this little baby as she welcomed herself into the world :)

Last week I posted a FREE giveaway on my facebook page for babies ranging from ages 6-9months. I was so pleased to see how excited you all were. And cute baby faces I did see!!! I filled all my spots with FIVE adorable girls… I couldn’t believe I had all girls- and it was so much fun playing dress up.

I thank all my moms – and adorable babies- that came to my ice rink studio lol. I really had a great time with you all and I can’t wait to see you again soon!  I am thinking cake smash!!!

Have I told you how lucky and blessed I am??? Very much so!!

I am so excited to be able to photograph this momma again who is expecting her SECOND baby.. at this point I do not know who is more ready to see baby- me or her. hmmm Ok, well since I recently had my baby I can say as much as I LOVE little babies, pregnancy was not “peachy” and I can probably bet that this momma is thinking she is MORE than ready to be done!! So, ok, momma- you win ;)

I am so glad the holidays are over… I can feel like myself and get back into routine. Which leaves me to apologize to all the clients that have been waiting to see some photos… yeah… I know.. I know.. I suck, BUT- they are finally done :)

Let me introduce this adorable little man ~ Baby E and sweet as can be.

I truly love my job :)

If you could see how AMAZING this momma was pregnant, you would instantly be envious. You would find her picture in the dictionary under “PERFECTION”. No Joke!

So it was only natural that I was giddy with excitement to meet their new little one when she made her big entrance. Of course, momma had the best birth story ever and proved it by the most adorable perfect little baby girl.  I really could have just eaten her up :)

Lately I have had so many BEAUTIFUL babies in the studio…. Each of them have been so wonderfully perfect- I feel like one lucky gal :)

Meet baby “C”. Sweet. Adorable. Precious.

A few weeks ago I was asked by another (very talented) photographer Amanda Norisada to mentor her with newborn photography. She is getting ready to move to Wisconsin and wanted to start a new chapter in her life :) Amanda is so super sweet and TALENTED. She is crafty, smart, talented and beautiful. I personally think you shouldn’t be crafty and beautiful- lol- makes the rest of us look bad lol.

For part of our time together she was able to watch, shoot and do some hands on with my newborn session. But to make the day even more fun, I invited back my good photo buddy, Meshelle. It was a lot of fun with us working all together- but that doesn’t fully explain all the chaos too… I just have to share :)

so, picture if you will… my cozy little studio, warmed up to a toasty 90 degrees. 3 photographers, 4 ladies, 3 babies ( mine, Meschelle’s and baby C), props and blankets everywhere and the occasional screaming baby. By the end I would love to say that I was able to loose all my baby weight from the heat but I wasn’t so lucky. Meshelle came up with the perfect description of what it’s like shooting newborn photography…… Newborn Yoga!

Momma K was so wonderful as she dealt with our crying babies- ok mainly just my baby and the very warm studio. As we all 3 worked together, we captured some great shots!

So now I will quit my yapping and show you some cuteness!!!!

Momma K- thank you so much for letting us play with your Oh- So- Adorable little man. I am SO happy for you and your family!!

Much loves!

*** plese excuse the nasty photo colors of the images.. some reason the changes shift in posting- BOO HISS**

I was invited back again to shoot at the Talus Rock Retreat and I must say… I wish I could make it my own :) It truly was a photographers candy store! They have the MOST amazing “props” and colors in the retreat. Ahhhh.. it was breathtaking!

OK… so I was able to meet this sweet lil boy and his super sweet momma. He was the most PERFECT lil baby EVER. My goodness- I have never done a newborn session in record time before, but he was super nice to me and slept the whole time. It was P E R F E C T I O N.

Check out our sneak peek into our session :)

** J- thank you so much for coming to see me. It was a great pleasure to meet you and your sweet one- and capture these fun images. I look forward to seeing you again soon!! **

It wasn’t very long ago… I was surfing facebook- my nemesis – and happened to check out a gal that friend-ed me. It was her profile picture that really caught my attention. She was beautiful, pregnant and had colorful balloons in her pic. After a short hello, we began chatting about our pregnancy, babies, photography and our other kids.. and within a few short days/ weeks- a great friendship seemed to blossom.

It was and still is nice to sit and chat about photography and our kids- knowing that the other person totally understands what they are going through.

We decided one day that we would meet up and play shop as we baby swapped to do photos. We both were having a hard time doing photos of our own baby- even with the help of others. We just figured if it went south during our meeting then at least we could sit and enjoy each others company as we stared at our lil ones :)

We set up a day for baby fun day and tried to see what we could do. Sadly, Jack, once again, didn’t give me much to work with… and he gave NOTHING to my friend. What a little stinker. Her little one, was almost as picky as mine- although we finally were able to get her to sleep for a few shots.

Here is our creations that we were able to capture. A huge thanks to Meshelle Photography for being such an amazing person!! I can’t wait to do this again.
