If I had a list of the sweetest mommies… THIS mom would SO be on it. I love it when I have a mom come to see me, put her trust in me and we chat it up during the session, that it seems it was over way to fast!

When I met RiLynn’s momma- it was so much fun being able to chat the session away, enjoying the moments, and capturing some beautiful images!

For this session because sweet RiLynn had a big brother, we split up the session as a 2-part session. Sometimes a newborn session can get long and for a big brother or sister- long is just a keyword for “f o r e v e r” and the last thing I want is for mom to get stressed out or other little ones get bored and crazy lol. I believed this worked out perfectly for not only mom, but dad and brother too! We were able to take day1 and focus fully on mom and baby and then on day 2 we kept the focus on the boys!

Here is a sneak peek into our session.

There is something so sweet, so precious and simple as I capture little baby details. I love being able to see that fuzz. I want mom to be able to look back on these photos and remember when her sweet little one had fuzz. So when she closes her eyes she can remember the way it felt on her fingertips or as she gently kissed her ears and shoulders.

Every new mom that books a session receives a welcome box- filled with goodies. This momma got crafty on me and upcycled part of my packaging her a cute headband for her sweet package!

Again I had the pleasure of meeting another sweet family- who traveled a long drive to come see. It always makes my heart melt to hear how far families will travel for me to document their little one :)

This precious girl, so tiny, so pure…… melted my heart and took it away. Just sitting with her parents that day told the perfect story of how wonderful sweet Willow is going to grow up to be!

Here is a sneak peek into our session

Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your sweet Willow. I am so happy for you both for the wonderful blessing you have!

I was so excited to meet this little baby…. so excited for this family…. and couldn’t wait to find out what this momma was going to have.. although I have to admit I thought it would be another girl :)

I feel really blessed to be able to know such amazing people and now this beautiful amazing baby girl.

I have not blogged in a LONG time :( Good news, I have been busy and just not have had the chance to really sit down and write. Things have been pretty darn crazy, but instead of editing tonight, I wanted to share some images from some recent sessions- because they are all so adorable and so sweet..

I would like to introduce baby M. He comes from super sweet-quiet- parents. I know that he will be just the calmest little thing as he grows up. Well, as quiet as a boy can be :)

Here is a sneak peek from our session!

*** Thank you J for letting me capture your sweet family! I look forward in seeing you all again soon! ****

Baby K was such a great sleeper… so precious and sweet.

I think my fave part of our session was using the bed. Just a nice reminder that babies do what THEY want to. I gently laid him on the bed.. and he picked the way he wanted to rest.. with his sweet little leg hanging off the bed. It was just too sweet.

Check out his total cuteness from our session.

There is something so magical- so amazing when it comes to seeing a new baby. It never gets old for me. Maybe it is a gentle remind of just how amazing God really is.

One of my clients scheduled a session collection – Belly to Bebe’ which is 3 sessions to capture your baby’s first year of life. Part of my gift to this collection is a quick visit from me before you are released from the hospital to come and document those first few hours of your precious baby- those wrinkly toes, curled lips, squishy nose and just the love of how pure your baby is.

Here is a peek into her little guys first few hours of life.

A few weeks ago, I was contacted from one of my fave vendors – Photographers Bling and she had asked me if they could feature me in an upcoming piece in their new magazine. OF COURSE!!!! I love to talk- sometimes too much- and I love to share my heart. She had requested if any of my past clients had a letter they could share of their experience with me- to share and include in this piece.

Here are 2 of the love letters I have recently received. For each love letter I receive- no matter how big or how small.. they all touch my heart so much. I LOVE my clients and I feel so blessed to have met each and every one- if it is only for this one time in life.

Andrea & Baby Ave ~

Tonight, I lay my sweet 6 month old Ava down to sleep and watch her roll into her favorite sleep position, all curled up on her belly. She looks so sweet, I want to scoop her back up but who risks waking a sleeping babe?

Instead, I crawl into bed and reach into my nightstand drawer. This is where I keep my simple box of newborn photos wrapped in tissue from Jax-creations. I keep them close and open them when I need a pick-me-up. They are my own little treasure. I tried to put them on display many times but have not. Maybe it is because I cannot choose or maybe because they are too special, too precious to share.

I go through the photos one by one. I study each finger, each toe, even each eye lash (I admit, was originally a least favorite shot, now, I count the lashes). I notice she was born with the tiny swirl in her belly button I admire every day and her hair has already lightened 3 shades. She still snuggles in the same position as she naturally did for her newborn photos. She is so soft, so small, so perfect. I start to smell her scent with each image.

I place Ava’s face, her toes, her belly, her soft fuzzy hair gently back in the box, wrap them in tissue, close the lid, and slide my treasure back into the drawer. I crawl quietly out of bed and over to my sleeping babe. She is so big, so beautiful, such a gift. I gently scoop her up into my arms, snuggle her soft hair, and take in the sweet scent that will always be my beautiful baby.

Thank you, Jackie, for capturing my precious gift. My sweet baby will grow up but her scent will always be tucked in a simple box in my nightstand drawer.

Amber & Baby Grayson ~

We are so excited to share that we had the most unbelievable experience with jax creations photography and we simply couldn’t be happier! From start to finish we were treated so incredibly well and were amazed with every aspect of what the newborn session entailed. The picture taking was so comfortable, relaxed, and fun. (not always an easy task with a family of six there!) It was so exciting to be able watch a true expert photographer in her element with such passion for what she does and a genuine true love of babies and children. The images she was able to capture were beyond breathtaking and completely exceeded any expectations we could have imagined. Her advice and ideas throughout the creative process were so very helpful and her wonderful personality makes you feel like your talking to your best friend. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity with such a true professional who goes above and beyond in her work, word, actions, and presentation. The attention to detail is just phenomenal! I would (and do!) recommend Jackie for any and everyone looking for remarkable images of their little one to adore for a lifetime and a one of a kind experience that they will never forget!

I can never get enough of babies.. NEVER :)

Sunday, I was blessed in meeting another NEW baby- and what a sweet  baby.  And how lucky he is to have a cousin born just the day before him! They are going to have a blast growing up together… getting into trouble and chasing girls :)

Here is a sneak into our session!

Feel free to Pin and leave a comment for this special momma- but please do not copy or save images

Oh sweet baby E. I love her name, her hair, her nose and her personality :) When we first started the session, she gave me so many smiles. Seemed like every time I placed my hand on her she would smile… maybe it wasn’t because I touched her, but that is the story I am going with :)

Take a peek into our studio session

If you like these images please feel free to PIN and leave a comment for this couple. It is always nice to share great words.

This momma is one of the first moms I met when I got here and my first Cake Smash session here in Dickinson. I have never met someone with such a great loving personality. Seriously she just bubbles with sweetness.

When I got a note from her asking for a session of her sweet little one, I was over the MOON and so excited to not only spend time with her but also to meet Mr G.

When my moms come into the studio I always welcome them but I have to quickly ask to see my new baby. This is usually the time where you will either hear me screech, giggle, ohh and awww or clap my hands with excitement. Yes, I am a goon but those babies are just so darn cute! Mr. G was no exception and I could not wait to hold him!

Here is a sneak peek into our session!

I love her smile here!

*** A- thank you so much for entrusting me to capture your newest bundle of joy!! It was a true blessing for me! **
