Last week I posted a FREE giveaway on my facebook page for babies ranging from ages 6-9months. I was so pleased to see how excited you all were. And cute baby faces I did see!!! I filled all my spots with FIVE adorable girls… I couldn’t believe I had all girls- and it was so much fun playing dress up.

I thank all my moms – and adorable babies- that came to my ice rink studio lol. I really had a great time with you all and I can’t wait to see you again soon!  I am thinking cake smash!!!

Oh man… I had so much fun. I really can’t wait to do this again. Hopefully next time I’ll have some fun props to do to the mix :)

Life ended pretty CRAZY in 2011 and I must say I have neglected a LOT… and I am really very sorry. But for the past few days I have been editing and posting and I must admit, I have missed it so much. I am looking forward to jumping with both my feet and seeing where the Lord leads me :)

Back in December- on the day my camera BROKE -UGH. Thankfully with her AMAZING patience and the help of a friend, I was able to do our session of fun!

It’s clients and babies like these that make my life joyful :)

We had a urban family session downtown Sandpoint just before WINTER came brrrrr

Fall in Sandpoint HAS to be one of the most beautiful places EVER. For this session with the “S” family, we were blessed to be able to enjoy the last of our Fall here in Sandpoint- before winter sneaked by and took all the leaves away.
Yes, it was a pretty chilly day- but still so beautiful.
This little peanut wasn’t too happy being around me this time or being outside, but I can not stop gushing over how adorable everyone looks in their vintage inspired photo shoot!!
** L, J, J, & C- thank you for enduring the chilly morning- you all were wonderful and always make gorgeous photos. I have enjoyed watching your kids and family grow!! I love you guys!! **

I simply just ADORE this family!!! I really can not say enough wonderful things about them all.

Sadly, we haven’t seen each other in a while due to just life events, but I was super happy when she called me to do family photos. I couldn’t wait to see them all and play!

I would like to say that we all had a great time, but this little man… I don’t think he was too sure of me making silly noises and my camera. Although when the camera was down he would say my name- and that my friends is always nice to hear when a 2 year old just says your name so cute!

Here is a sneak peek of our beautiful session at the BEAUTIFUL Talus Rock- if you have never stayed there, I HIGHLY recommend taking a weekend and treating yourself. I promise you will LOVE it out there :)

I seriously thought this week wouldn’t end… ok and I feel like these next 2 weeks are never going to come and end either.. I guess that is what happens when you are watching the calendar and clock for D DAY! As of today I have 11 days left of carrying this baby in belly. I can not express enough to you how excited I am to just hold this little miracle. Time really can not come fast enough.

Friday was my last Sun Kissed Summer Mini Session… and I have to say, it was a lot of fun seeing everyone and capturing those cute images. I hope you are not bored with seeing more, because I have this one more session to share!!

I first met this little guy when he was just a newbie.. and NOW look at him- such a big- happy- boy. And his beautiful momma is expecting another one.. YAH!! I can’t wait to meet this little one she is growing. I am hoping it will be a girl!

Here is a sneak peek into our session~

Check out this watermelon. Talk about playing with your senses. Or at least it did mine. Completely opposite on the outside and the inside YELLOW. Every time I looked at it, my mouth watered thinking it tasted like something tropical like pineapple but no joke, it tasted JUST like a normal pink watermelon! I still can’t get over it

* J & R- thank you so much again for coming to see me. I truly enjoy you all and hope to be able to see you again once baby is born :) I hope the rest of the summer is nice to you!! And lil man C- Thank you so much for all the smiles you gave me. *

How can your heart NOT smile when you look at this little man. Every time I clicked my shutter I giggled and made a comment about how CUTE he was!

And such a sweet personality. I was so happy that I was able to capture this little guy and meet his momma. Although he was MUCH more interested in squishing the watermelon than eating it, it was still a lot of fun watching him discover.

** L- thank you so much for participating in the Sun Kissed Summer Mini Session. It was a great pleasure meeting you and your little one. I really enjoyed our time together and editing these photos…. He is so stinken cute!! **

The last time I got to see this cute little one, was when he was a newborn! I am always amazed on how grown up kids look when I don’t see them for a while. You would think by now I would actually GET that they grow up lol.. but EVERY time I am just shocked!

I have to give you a little back story on this family- only because it just warms my heart. I first met this momma when she was engaged. She booked us to do her wedding a few years ago and it was the MOST emotionally sweet wedding. This couple was (and still are) so in love. It seriously just poured out of their pores! I prayed that their love would last a lifetime and be spread to other couples everywhere!

When they announced that they were expecting, it was only natural to do some fun maternity photos. I was so happy that this couple was going to have a baby!! I know too that their family couldn’t wait either to see this little one.

So when little C was born, we met up once again to do some newborn photos and created some pieces that were as beautiful as their love :)

Well, they are expecting again and I am so HAPPY that I get to once again capture this miracle from a family of 3 to a family of 4! Since I have not seen this little man in 15 months, we set up a day to do family photos and kick off the Sun Kissed Summer Mini Session idea. I had a lot of fun with them- like I always do!!

** S & J, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your life to capture your finest moments! I am so glad that I get to be a part of it!! **
