Ever have those days where you feel the need to organize yourself and office but even to GET there you need to organize stuff Before you can actually ORGANIZE?! That is my dad today. So far I was able to clean my C drive, move a *few* images to the server, clean out the filter for the washer (gross), try to eat something for lunch that tasted good (no luck), watch and freak myself out a little by watching American Horror Story, feed my kids, answer emails, get distracted with facebook…. I lost the train of thought just now of the point I was trying to make…..  Oh yeah- organize. The things I want to accomplish today: more laundry (ugh), renew vehicle tags, grocery shop, look for a new website design, update website…..update all my *ahem* spending for the year, post office run, spend time with my kiddos and of course make dinner for the gang!

In between all these lists, I figured it was time to advert away from them and post some photo fun!!

Here is a sneak peek into Baby’s First Christmas event. Oh – MY- goodness.. I had SO much fun. Each baby was so stinken adorable and precious. I had the biggest headache after from smiling and laughing so much!! Take a peek!

Aren’t they just so cute?!! I think I will have to continue to do this EVERY year!!!

I told myself that I would not do mini sessions this year.. not exactly sure why I decided that but OBVIOUSLY I changed my mind :) I am going to have to blame that on Moe Moe’s Garden. She ordered some CUTE bow ties and suspenders and well… I am a sucker for cute!!

Sugar and Spice… and everything nice….

That’s what baby N is made of!

This sweet little baby kept me on my toes in chuckles. She had this adorable shy face and then she would throw me that “ugh- C’mon lady- seriously?!” look. LOL it was the sweetest and funniest thing.

I was very excited to meet this family as they came to me with a HUGE referral – Jasmine- thank you for entrusting me to capture this family!!

I know you have heard me say numerous time how blessed I feel to do this “job”. I seriously can not thank God enough for this wonderful blessing and gift. It feels so wonderful to not only meet and spend an hour or two with WONDERFUL people and beautiful babies, but it brings me SUCH joy to be able to capture such pureness.

D& B- Thank you – from the bottom of heart- for letting me capture your family. B- you are so beautifully photogenic! I loved how happy the 2 of you were – laughing and having a great time with your daughter. That is love. That is beauty. That is LIFE :)

Once again, thank you for letting me capture this milestone in N’s first year!

ok… and yes… traveling all the way out here to see me (and listen to my allergy attack)

Please be kind. Do not copy, save or print. But please feel free to share this blog post.. and leave a comment!!

One of the best things about living here in Dickinson, ND is how simple life has gotten. We, as a family, have been able to spend so much time together… and I can not express how much I love that.

Last night – after feasting on a hot and gooey pizza, we loaded up and went to the pool. Even baby Jack was able to enjoy the water. I love my kids so much and my husband amazes me each day! I feel so incredibly blessed for the blessings in my life. Thank you God- for all – the good, the bad, and ugly :)

Jack LOVED the water and for the full hour we were there he made his sweet baby noises of pure happiness and enjoyment.

Today, I failed at getting myself out the door again to church – dang me- but did manage to get in a nap. That nap was very much needed since we were planning a family trip to Wal-Mart. That store…. ugh.. I think I have a love / hate relationship with them. Today they manage to have only a few check out people- the slowest they possibly had on a SUPER busy day. What the heck???!!!  I was quickly loosing my cool with standing in line and the crazy kids running circles around me. I felt like I was herding cats at that moment. Sweet hubby took the kids – except the one I wanted to hang with me- over to sit and coax with cookies. So there I was, hanging out with my 5 yr old- the sweet- loveable one…the one that ALWAYS has a smile on his face… looked at me so serious- cocked his head to the side and said ” mom… your tummy is getting big again. Are you having ANOTHER baby?!” I didn’t really know what to say to that besides shriek no in my best valley girl accent.

For today’s family time, hubby and I decided we should do a sundae dinner. Although I thought it would be a great idea for dinner, the parent in me KNEW dinner was needed- which was not ice cream. So we stuffed them with bbq and then got a platter ready for them to dig -face first- for a Sunday Sundae Pig Party.

Our daughter was grossed out by sharing and getting dirty with her brothers- so she just watched. I wasn’t going to let her banana go to waste so I jumped in and licked and ate what I could grab. I had a lot of fun heheheheheh… a great messy fun good time!

After the boys had their fun I couldn’t help but to put baby Jack in the middle of it…. yes yes- I Know… SUGAR.. but you know what…. I’m a sucker :) But fear not… he only wanted the bananas and picked them out himself!!

If you have never given your kids a pig party- I HIGHLY recommend it. Either on the kitchen floor (covered with trash bags) or outside- let go and have some MESSY fun!!

Last week I posted a FREE giveaway on my facebook page for babies ranging from ages 6-9months. I was so pleased to see how excited you all were. And cute baby faces I did see!!! I filled all my spots with FIVE adorable girls… I couldn’t believe I had all girls- and it was so much fun playing dress up.

I thank all my moms – and adorable babies- that came to my ice rink studio lol. I really had a great time with you all and I can’t wait to see you again soon!  I am thinking cake smash!!!

Life ended pretty CRAZY in 2011 and I must say I have neglected a LOT… and I am really very sorry. But for the past few days I have been editing and posting and I must admit, I have missed it so much. I am looking forward to jumping with both my feet and seeing where the Lord leads me :)

Back in December- on the day my camera BROKE -UGH. Thankfully with her AMAZING patience and the help of a friend, I was able to do our session of fun!

It’s clients and babies like these that make my life joyful :)

Looking at her makes me make funny baby noises.. I LOVE this stage of babyhood- they are so stinken cute and playful and who doesn’t love it when babies eat their toes?!!!!

I love her!

I recently posted info on 2 mini sessions I am offering this month. Here is a sneak peek into session one of this beautiful- adorable little girl.

(that headband was made by ME :)

If you would like to book this mini session (Sun Kissed Summer Style #1) please contact Jackie at:

Jackie@jax-creations.com

One of my fave things about summer is how beautiful the sun can be in the evenings. If I could… I would lay in the grass and let the sun kiss my face as the sun sets behind our mountains. The evening sun, here in Sandpoint Idaho, has this beautiful glow to it. And as a photographer- its like GOLD. It can create some beautiful images.

Before I take my final leave of maternity leave, I wanted to offer something fun for all my wonderful clients and fans.

Sun Kissed Summer~ Mini Session

I had put up a voting question last week to see what you would like to see.. Something to do with laundry or watermelon.. well for a while, it was all so very close… and I personally couldn’t make my mind up. So, I am offering you BOTH.

Mini sessions last about 15-30 min (that more depends on how slow this prego body of mine moves). Mini sessions are a lot of fun and it lets the kiddos have a burst of fun with no pressure to be “picture perfect”- not that I EVER expect that.

Sun Kissed Summer Style #1

Sun Kissed Summer Style #2

Either one of these fun sessions can be for boy or girl… So lets have some summer fun!!

There will be only 4 session spots available- first come.

Mini sessions are booked at $150 and includes your session and a disc of 5 digital images. You will be provided a link to view your images and pick your top fave 5!!

I hope you all are enjoying these last few weeks of summer. As for me…. I am counting down my days to D DAY!! It actually can’t come fast enough LOL- but I guess that is the life of a prego momma!!
