That is the meaning of the name Phoebe – if you were to look it up. And she fits this description so perfectly.

This sweet lil babe made my heart swell with joy and love! When her {AMAZING} momma contacted me to share the news that they were finally expecting thier own blessing….I knew this little girl was going to be ….amazing! The story of this little girl and the journey the family took to get to this point…. well it just leaves me speechless and smiling ear to ear.

Just holding her, it was so hard to put her down. Her baby skin was just so soft and so sweet. With just the perfect amount of baby fuzz, it was so hard not to just give her those little baby back rubs. To sit back and watch the pure joy and love pour out of her mom and dad… just makes you want to have another baby yourself.

I was so excited to meet Miss Phoebe and I look forward to watching her grow to be just as amazing as her mom.

She is all grown up and full of spunk!

It seems like yesterday when I first saw her… all tiny and curled up… and now… She is ONE.

Here is a sneak into our recent session together. Apparently she didnt think too fondly of my big black camera… it was only till the end when we told her we were done, when the smiles started coming out!!

p.s. I want one of these things!! She had so much fun on it.. I want to get one for my crazy little one and one for the studio.

It would be a great studio toy!

What a crazy and long day! Enjoyable but Loooooooooonnnngggg.

Started out with a meeting for little charlie joe and getting him set up on speech. That little monkey still has no words yet. Its funny how we parents cant wait for the little ones to talk and then we spend the rest of our lives wishing they would just be quiet… for five minutes.. PLEASE. – Well I hope I am not the only one

After that- I got all dolled up for my radio interview. As I was leaving my husbands says ” you know its radio- they cant see you, right”? Well I know but I wanted to feel a little bit …special… important.. professional- at least until I open my mouth to talk LOL

I tell you …that is the MOST nerve racking thing. There – on the table- was that microphone STARING at you. And then for some odd reason I got STUPID embarrssed by talking into it. I dont know what I really sounded like but in my head I am hearing a 12 year old goofy kid rambeling on and on and not really making any sense. That is the excited little girl inside of me- jumping around and hyped up on sugar! Ahhh oh well.. I am sure I busted that whole interview- ok it actually makes me laugh. I am such a dork!

After I left there and stood in the parking lot to air out my sweaty arm pits… I did some not -so- fun errands… then I did one of those round trip drives- which are NOT fun I tell you.. to pick up all the kiddos and head out to oreintation for preschool.. ok SUPEr excited about that. I know he is too. Long day, but enjoyable

And here we have a THREE way tie…Hmm. how do you choose??? I think they are ALL adorable!!

OK I tried to get these all lined up pretty, but it is just not working for me tonight.. i am tired and HUNGRY.. and I just noticed that while I am typing this.. I am saying this all in my head with a southern accent.

weird.

Well I guess its nitey nite for me- MAYBE I will be able to sleep in tomorrow! Wouldn’t that be exciting?? It looks like a long day of laundry- ugh. Maybe…. I will be blessed by one of those fairy tale creators that will come in in the middle of the night and do ALL my laundry- including putting it away.. ahhhh… a girl can dream, right?

This momma is so AMAZINGLY beautiful.. inside and out.. she has the sweetest hubby who just ADORES her and she little princess is just as amazing as her momma.

I was so excited when I found out L was expecting another baby. I couldn’t wait to see her growing belly … it was just as I pictured it- perfectly round and …beautiful.
For a moment I was a little jealous that I never had a perfect belly like that, but its ok.. I got over it- and I still adore her!

Just look how happy this daddy is. How can you NOT smile just looking at him!

Last year, a friend of a client of mine… just to make things a little confusing for ya… purchased a gift certificate for her best friend. They had planned on getting all together with all of their little girls, for a photo shoot. I suggested to this group of BEAUTIFUL girls to do something for the photos… something that can get them in interact all together- something fun. So we set up to do a small picnic. This helps 1) to set the mood and 2) helps get everyone relaxed.

Everyone got dolled up and they all looked so adorable and very pretty. I made a mental note to myself that I too should to this one day with at least my daughter. I had a great time with these ladies- they were ALL so wonderful and the kids were wonderful!

There are usually a handful of things that makes my heart skips beats. A pregnant belly. A fresh newborn. A giggly infant. Chubby baby legs. Sweet baby tootsies. Hearing my kids belly laugh. Looking into my husband’s eyes……. and knowing the men and women who server our country.

Back a few months ago I was part of a worldwide blog contest where others would nominate a family for a photography session with me. There were a lot of entries and it was so hard to just pick one… they all had wonderful reasons to have a session, but the rules were to pick one. The lucky winner was a fellow MOPS mom – a super sweet and VERY talented mom- Jenni R. She has these 2 adorable boys that are extremely polite. I found out that her hubby was getting ready to be deployed to serve our country. I KNEW this was just meant to be! As a military brat myself and a brother who is currently over in Iraq, my heart skipped a few beats for this family. I am so glad to be able to do this session for them. To give them these family portraits that they can cherish for years to come. I am SO thankful for his service and I pray that he returns home safely back to his family. I know that they will all miss him so very much!

We had a great time (at least I hope so) in this new location they scouted out. It was so beautiful and so peaceful.

R family.. thank you for letting me be a part of your family for that short moment. You are all amazing!

Tuesday. One of my most stressful days. I am thinking its going to get even more stressful now that “school” is back in session. I have no idea what this day will hold for me…except a nap. Yes, a nap. Perfect idea!

On my grocery shopping trip yesterday Istumbled upon this bag. This evil bag of sweet goodness. Pillsbury has developed a mom’s worse enemy. They are called Sweet Moments- Bite Size Brownies.

On the front of the bag it says  “Ready To Eat” – what it should say is ” Ready To Be Fat!” Holy molnkees!! There is no way possible to eat just one of these chocolate caramel filled mini brownies. I mean they were cleaver to make them into bite sizes… because you dont feel as guilty eating them till you reach into the bag for one more and notice that they are ALL GONE!

Ohhh these people at Pillsbury… so smart and sneaky they are. Although…. in a positive way… I guess I can consider this therapy. I mean when you have a long day of children yelling, snotty noses, a house that looks like a hurricane stopped by, piles of work to do, laundry, dishes and etc… its almost orgasmic to sit down after the kids are all in bed, with a glass of milk or my fave- OJ and quietly open the bag (so no one can witness you) and just melt into a pile of Pillsbury goo as you enjoy these bite size evil brownies.

For a moment.. all that choas has dissapeared. At least until the bag is empty!

p on Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. That was my first time being up there.. it was simply beautiful. As was this wedding. The bride was breath – taking. It was all simply romantic. Horse drawn carriage, simple beautiful flowers, an AMAZING cake….. and tr

ue love. Ahhhh – my heart!  I am so glad I was able to be a part of that beautiful day. As much as I would LOVE to share some images, those are being kept under lock and key sorry. You will just have to imagine how beautiful they are!!

hmmmm. The baby that is suppose to be sleeping is now crying. I wonder if i can make him stop by eating one of my Sweet Moments brownie??

Full of energy, full of loves, full of smiles…. This is my niece – Erin

I still can’t believe my baby brother has a BABY! Well she isnt a baby anymore, but STILL. He has offspring!

A while ago, my sister in law and niece came up for a visit- I was super excited to meet this little girl. I have heard so much about her and seen so many adorable photos… now was my time to get to know this girl!

Just before they headed back home, we did a little photoshoot. I dont think she knew what to think of my camera and my funny noises. Either way- she is cute and I love her.
