April Newsletter Post | Sandpoint Photographer
Posted on April 13, 2010
I have been trying since the end of March to put this together and send out… some reason all of my email contacts are ALL OVER THE PLACE and well, to sit and get them all in one place….. lets just say I need another me, another computer, all my programs, and an assistant, to make it thru my list!! I am not complaining at all – don’t get me wrong, I just cant stand being so unorganized and cluttered!
So i figured instead of banging my head on trying to get this to send out in email, I will just post my newsletter here on the blog.
APRIL NEWSLETTER
? Did you know that April is Child Abuse Prevention month? This is where my heart breaks in a million pieces. I can NOT fathom how ANYONE can hurt a child – physically or sexually. I do not understand how someone can look into those big eyes of a LOVING innocent child and harm them! It makes my body ACHE with such pain and sorrow that there are children EVERYwhere that go thru horrible HORRIBLE things – in the hands of their own parent! As a child myself that was sexually abused, there has always been a part of me that wanted to reach out and help others. Even though my path of life has led me in this direction, my heart still pulls for all those children. That is why I am FULLY supporting our local Kinderhaven .
Here is a little bit about Kinderhaven
- a group foster home and emergency shelter for children who have been removed from their home for their own protection.
- here for children who come at a moment’s notice….day or night.
- the only facility of its kind in North Idaho.
- a non-profit organization, directed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
- making a big difference in ways big and small, in the lives of children whose bodies and hearts have been terribly hurt.
- hope for so many children.
Over 1300 children have passed through the door of Kinderhaven since first opening in 1996.
I know that April is just about over, but please help support Kinderhaven by either placing a donation or purchasing a blue wristband at Panhandle State Bank.
? There is only 1 spot left for Mommy & Me Mini Session. I have the 19th at 10:00 available. If you are interested in booking, please call me ASAP!?

An Accomplished Senior | Sandpoint Photographer

It seems that I have been photographing this family for years. I am sure it hasn’t been THAT long, but I have watched this young lady grow up in her teen years- so beautifully!
I was very excited when I got the call to do her senior photos and when I learned that she is ONLY 16 – I was flabbergasted! (Ha! I used a big word
You should be so proud of me!!) This young lady has accomplished so much. So much in fact that I feel like I have accomplished NIL – compared to her!! I know I havent really.. I mean I mother 4 kids, a husband, a dog… that it self is a HUGE accomplishment!
Miss T plans on being a christian writer and from what I have heard- She is GREAT at it. I told her she should start a blog and share her short stories so we all can read them! I know that I will be on the lookout for her first published book. And by the sound of it, it wont be long! Can you imagine getting your own book published BEFORE you turn 18?!! That would be awesome!
I had a lot of fun with Miss T and her mom. I haven’t seen her mom in a long time so it was nice catching up on life and chatting. She was also a great help with getting Miss T to pose and smile. Poor thing didn’t know what to expect as we headed out for our photo adventure. I should warn everyone that YOU WILL GET MESSY during any photo session LOL. But I was a lady and offered her my jacket when she had to lay down.. aren’t I so sweet

This is my FAVE picture. It says so much to me! She is so purtee!!

A little bit of sunshine to brighten the day!
Miss T- thank you for having fun with me! I really had a great time with you and you were such a sport for putting up with my “adventure”!

You have seen her before.. back when she was a wee one…and she is back again for her 6 month – well actually she is 8 months at this session, but its the next photo op in the Bebe’ Me Collection!
Poor thing almost didn’t make it to the session due to an unforeseen tummy troubles – that apparently ruined mommy and daddy’s fave outfit! But, she was a trooper and was a peach during her session. I LOVED her skirt and all her rolls!! Oh how bad I just wanna SQUISH ‘em and love ‘em! I am s sucker for those baby rolls….and cute dimply cheeks!!
Well here is your sneak peek! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. She just makes me smile!!

Lovin' this skirt. I want one!! (headband from Bella Saraceno)

*A and M, thanks again for coming in. I enjoyed so much playing with H. She is just cute as PIE!!! I am so glad that I am able to watch her grow her first year of life. I am looking forward to seeing you all again on her 12th month!!! I will email you when all her photos are done!***
Introducing …..
Posted on April 7, 2010
We all know how fast children grow before our eyes. I am sure if you are a mom or even a grandparent your heart just melts into a pile of lovely goo as you watch your children or grandchildren play with such imagination – with no care in the world. To them, life is just one big playground. There have been so many times where I wished I could just record my kiddos and savor that moment for the rest of my life. Because I know when I wake up tomorrow…. that sweet- carefree child…. will be all grown up.
Jax Creations Photography and Case42 Productions is now offering a timeless, cinematic memory from the heart.
We will be creating a MOTION PICTURE style with a home movie feeling that will capture your family’s actions. Whether they be graceful, silly, quirky, loving, or goofy…we’ll capture it all – even the outtakes!
Your personal film will take you behind the scenes of your photo shoot with ME
and then together in your personal film, assembled in a simplistic timeline set to music, will include some of your images to really make it AWESOME!!
For more info or some ideas on how to plan your Movie From The Heart Session – feel free to email or give me a call!

Tidbits On Tuesday
Posted on April 6, 2010
Its Tuesday. In between the snow (yes, I said SNOW….and I must feel the need to remind Nature that its APRIL), the rain, and the whinny kids running a muck thru the house.. the only comfort I am finding throughout the day is this big bar of Toblerone Chocolate and the sweet loves from my kiddos. Of course its after those moments where I lose my mind with them… but at least they are giving me sweet reminders that they still love me no matter how much I foam at the mouth from frustration during this spring break. As a kid in school, I LOVED spring break… but as I parent.. it sucks! Maybe it wouldnt be SO bad if the weather would at least cooperate with all the parents!
Before spring break SPRUNG on me.. I had great plans. Roller skating, fun lunches, kitchen activities. But now…. all I can muster up is movie time and quiet time. I think there is an unspoken law that kids have that when all the kids are together under one roof and can NOT go outside, they must all argue, fight, cry and be bored till the mom is standing there either pulling her hair out or just throws her hands up in the air and forfeits.
On a brighter – happier note
My daughter has entertained me with her so call dance and singing skills, business is GRAND, and I think everyone is finally getting over the sniffles!!!
I really dont have too much to report today – just the spring break issues LOL. hopefully by the end of the week, there will be some kind of good weather that the kids can enjoy.
Well, I have a kitchen full of dishes that arent washing themselves… time to get up and get moving. OH!!! I bought some dusting wipes today- I think I will dust some things around here and be reminded of what my furniture looks like
~Happy Tuesday my friends
Miracle Baby | Sandpoint Newborn Photographer

I have been waiting for this day for months. I would like to warmly and graciously introduce to you, baby A. God’s true Miracle.
Baby A entered our world at an early- super early age, but has defied all obstacles and is now fully at home in the arms of his loving family- with no machines or tubes!! There was no a day that went by that I did not pray for my friend. How difficult it must have been to endure such worry moment by moment. But how WONDERFUL it must feel to hold a God given gift. So perfect. So precious.
Today was the day that I finally got to see this miracle in person. Today is the day that I got to savor what a miracle he is! Today I witnessed how AMAZING God is!!
I personally look forward to watching this little peanut grow into a feisty and playful little boy!
Every baby is a miracle and oh-so cute and even each baby has those tiny features that we all just melt over. Baby A had the sweetest details and as much as I have tried to capture those little wrinkles, crinkles and details… it will never melt your heart as much as seeing them in person. I just wanted to stick him in my pocket right next to my heart!
A &A- I really wish I could express to you how excited and happy I am for you both. god is amazing…as you can see in your baby’s eyes! Congratulations…. and welcome home baby A.
sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart

And here is the beautiful BIG sister… I love this little girl. She is the sweetest thing and those EYES…. UGH- be still my weak heart!!

Look at those CHEEKS!!! I am a sucker for dimples… as you can tell by my hubby’s smile. Flash me those dimples and I become weak in the knees!! Stick a set of dimples on a little one and I become a gibberish- goofy- giggly me.
Meet baby M. Oh how I loved the way she smiled. Such a HAPPY baby. I first met this little one during a wedding consult for her parents – which you will be seeing more of them later this summer… but even at our first hello, she had me all giggly. I had a lot of fun at her session! And she has a weak spot for her daddy. That man could make her smile in an instant!!! So Sweet!!
