Another beautiful momma…….

I first met this couple on their wedding day.. I have never seen a couple SO IN LOVE with each other. I too cried along with them during the ceremony. It was just so beautiful and so sweet. And to this day they still OOZZEE all that love!! Makes my heart sing.

They are expecting their FIRST baby BOY!!! Watching them hug each other during their shoot you can tell that this baby is going to not only be loved so much but spoiled! I think that is just awesome!!!

S & J- Congratulations again. I am really so happy for you both! I pray for an easy and fast delivery!!!! I cant wait to see the little one when he arrives!! Dont forget to put me on the contact list

So I finally finished this sweet little girl – man my kids did NOT want me to work… its almost like they LIKE me or something!!

I know I had shared her cute face, but I wanted to share a few more. And if I get a few moments to myself and this bottle of wine I just purchased I have more from other sessions to share!!

What I love about these hats and headbands is how easy and comfortable and FUN they are! Because each hat and headband have detachable flowers, you can easily mix and match them all. We even took the flower off one hat and used it as an accessory piece on the little ones clothes!

Happy Valentines Day!

Here is a sneak peek into yesterdays sessions. Each one of these kiddos were so funny. It was so refreshing laughing as hard as we did during the sessions!

This is mighty M… I have photographing this little man since he was a fresh little peanut and I was so shocked to see how big he has gotten in the last few months. Such a big boy! I am gonna miss seeing him! This time around I got to see some smiles and laughs.

Sweet BIG GIRL M ~

In just a few days this BEAUTY will be ONE YEAR OLD. I couldn’t stop saying how beautiful she was. I even commented that I am gonna keep her on my list of girlfriends for little charlie joe! I mean look at her face!!! I just want to snuggle her!

Baby M was SO FUNNY. She first of all did not like me getting close to her AT ALL- so I kept my distance to make her happy LOL, but she had us all wrapped around her little finger and SHE was in control!! She would trick us and flirt with us by smiling and then turning away. She even started doing her own laughing routine. She had us all in stitches!! It was the funniest thing I ever saw. I wish I had a video camera at this session!!

One of the best things here in Sandpoint is our local flower shop – Petal Talk. Why, you ask? Because they are AWESOME!!!

I have been lucky to have worked with Petal Talk more than a hand full of times in the past years at weddings and was always so impressed on their service and flowers. Nicole (the owner of PT) & I seemed to always cross paths at the weddings- usually in a gush of passing wind from running back and forth of working.

Last year we photographed MY fave wedding to this date….. it was super colorful and all about the shoes…. anywho, the flowers for this wedding was AMAZING and breathtaking. At this wedding I actually got to talk more with Nicole and couldn’t wait to get to know her more and work with her again.  Not too long after that wedding, we met up for coffee one morning and I learned A LOT about her business. Who knew there was so much more to flowers than just the flowers LOL. I did embarrass myself by only knowing what sunflowers, daisy’s, and roses looked like.. everything else I am clueless. She even offered to have me come in one day and see how things work. Naturally I would love too, but I wouldn’t even DARE to touch or try to do anything.. This thumb of mine is BLACK!! From that day on, we not only became friends but also colleges.

In October of last year, Sandpoint had a bridal show at the Event Center and I was honored that Nicole asked me for some images from weddings I had done with her work. I was so excited and like I said honored. I just hoped that my work spoke well enough for HER work!

With Valentines approaching, Petal Talk wanted to send out an email blast for their services and I was asked to do a product shoot of some arrangements. Again, I was HONORED and super excited. Nicole showed up with beautiful, exotic, creative, and pretty arrangements for me to “play” with. I had a lot of fun and everything smelt so good. I remember walking back into the studio the next day and the aroma of all those flowers was so amazing… I could get used to that!!

Here are a few photo samples of Petal Talk beauties. And HEY!!! Just because Valentines comes only once a year does not mean you cant get flowers more often. Heck- go buy yourself a pretty little thing. Nicole and the other ladies will work within your budget and give you perfection

“now I lay me down to sleep… I pray this lady lets me sleep”…..

LOL this little man was SO sweet but I could tell he was not very happy with me waking him up! He arrived so sweet and soundly all snugged in his seat with this ADORABLE outfit. I couldn’t make myself wake this little guy up- especially after his mom told me he is a very light sleeper. So before I woke him up and made him mad, I grabbed a few precious shots of him in his sleepy slumber

I am a sucker for newborn skin and bare bottoms…. but again I probably should have heed the warnings of his sweet mom… LIGHT SLEEPER!! But even though he was not peacefully sleeping away, he was still such a joy to photograph. Baby R has AMAZIng big blue eyes and SO super strong! Just look at him holding his head up looking at me!!!

Such a cute little man…. this momma is gonna be busy

This saturday – before my Be Mine Mini Sessions, I got to hit the town with a sweet senior girl from Montana.

Miss A was so wonderful to work with. And so easy!!! At times she seemed shy in front of the camera but she knew how to work it In between our breaks and clothing/location change I got to learn a little bit more about Miss A. One day this young lady might save your life in the OR.. she has big dreams
