Did You Know??

Today was the first meeting of MOPS and I had to miss all the fun because not only did I get sick, but 2 of my kids were sick. It was a very interesting day. After seeing Dr. Bonine – who was FABO with my cranky-don’t-touch-me-all-I-want-is-mommy-kid!

Well the exciting part, and I am serious when I say EXCITING…. Well Life Pharmacy does NOT charge parents for your childs antibiotics!!! REPEAT*** there is no charge for your kids antibiotic**** isn’t that insanely wonderful?!? This is a HUGE Shout-out to our local pharmacy. I will for sure be taking an extra longer drive to use that pharamacy. And I have to say, that I totally love the drive-thru option.

Thank you -Well Life Pharamcy

To The Nice Wal-Mart Lady….

I was in that dreaded place shopping with the kids and we had reached the melt down point of christopher ready to go. We were standing in line when he starts SCREAMING. This sweetheart of a lady started to distract him and talk to him. He stopped screaming and crying and began to calm down. She was a life savor!!

So who ever you were…. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
You seriously saved my afternoon!

{The Nickel Family}

This beautiful family of 3, traveled all the way from Bonners Ferry. To me, that is a long way. To me, Wal-mart is a long way :)

I had a great time with this family. Their little girl, Miss M was just too sweet and so adorable. We did their family photos in my new fave location – Cocolalla and it was just a beautiful day – it was a little windy and a little bright, but the sky had some beautiful shades of blue.

I also have to give a shout-out to the mom and dad, who just celebrated their TEN YEAR anniversary. I think that is just awesome! Congratulations you guys!!

So take a sneak peek into their session ~ Enjoy!

Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you’ll never get back.

Today’s Message of the Day is:
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we’re here we should dance.

Photo Update {from the Bonner Fair}

This year I decided to enter the fair again, mainly for *sheets* & giggles. I entered three and received a blue ribbon for each of them. There were LOTS of great pictures there this year. I think the one that I really liked the most was of this firetruck at night with a guy sitting on it looking up at the fireworks. It was really cool. I felt like an amercian at that moment.

any who, here are the 3 that I entered.

1. Sleepy Time
Just before the fair ended, I received a phone call from the hospital, asking if they could have this image hung up in the Labor & Delivery ward. I was very happy to hand it over!

2. The Little Things

3. An American Dream – This one won Peoples Choice Award. (I thought that was pretty cool)

Yesterdays Day- { a glimpse of our day}

So like I said I was going to try to post some of our life, the way it is. It was actually nice to not think about how to make a great picture and just take some snapshots. And I pretty much broke every rule I could think of…. hehehehehe. So my warning to you is that these are SNAPSHOTS – THESE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL pictures nor are they thought out, just the moment captured!

So my morning started off as usual, the long to-do list that needed to be completed TODAY but today was an added bonus of MORE extreme tooth pain. I am so tired of taking pills and the days just seem longer and longer. I dont go to the dentist till Thursday which seems like FOREVER. And in case you dont know, I am PETRIFIED of the dentist. I would rather have natural childbirth than go to the dentist!
So as I am starting to work on my “list” I see lil one sitting on the floor playing with his farm. So I said to myself, “self, this is a great opportunity to sit down and play with your kid and take a natural moment picture”. So I did…..

When you get bored using your hands, use the next best thing… FEET!

Its pink and its a pig – whats not to love?!?

He decided he was done playing, but I was actually comfortable basking in the morning sun. So there I sat alllllllll alone with a camera. So… this is what you get!

And this would be another boredom picture. But a nice shout out to you NIKON gals!!!

So after our “playtime” which I got DITCHED at, the kids DEMANDED snack time.
Well there was a full box of donuts sitting there waiting for someone to take them.
Donuts is a good healthy breakfast. Milk, egss, flour….chocolate. The perfect breakfast, right!

Well the kids did fine eating them and wanting more, but the lil one…… I swear that kid has a halo dangling off those darn horns!
He decided that the donut I gave him makes better confetti then a food item. So he decided to crush and sprinkle it (A.K.A throw it around) the floor and couch.
BOOGER HEAD!

but I had an “A-HA” moment. The kid likes to vaccum. My vaccum kicks butt. I have a list to still get to. I will let HIM clean up the mess!! So now I have found 2 things that occupy him for a great length. Lolllipops for shopping and vaccuming for mommy time!

All I have to say is, I love……
Here is the little punk cleaning….

and cleaning some more….

and more.

And my daughter found another good use for the vacuum -
A microphone!
She is my lil diva!

And this is what i have…. and funny that cleaning my desk or even organizing it, was NOT on my list. Sad part was that this is partly clean!
So here is the story with this. We had this HUGE desk and I used every bit of it with my “crap”. So I thought, you know, if my desk was smaller I would be forced to actually put my stuff away and it would not be so messy. DH was nice enough to buy me a smaller desk. And now, what I wish for is just an office! An office with shelves cabinets and storage and an office assistant. Ok maybe not the last one, but its a GRAND idea :)

This was the look of, “I am tired of that camera”.

Ok this sequence is funny… DH was sitting next to me and he was trying to talk to the lil monster. All they wanted to do is keep looking at camera. Everytime I took a picture, christopher was like, “me SEE. ME DO it” keeps reminding me to get another playsckool camera.

DH STILL trying to talk to him. heheheh.

And finally he got his attention. I have to laugh because it looks like he was showing him what was on his mind… (the finger)

And here comes Matty.
Now, some moms have the kids that run the other direction when they bring out the camera. Maybe mine dont because they literally grew up in front of camera, or…. I dont know. But my kids think its fun to be as goofy as possible for the camera. If they see it, they play it.

He spent all day with the guys doing guy stuff – playing in the dirt. I kept asking if i could clean his nose but he did not want me to touch it at all. Instead of letting me clean it.. this is what I get!

Once one starts making silly faces, the others cant help but not to do it too.
I have to admit, it was fun watching. They kept me laughing!

He was trying to pull up his nose like a pig nose….. this would be the 2yr old version of that!!!

I just like this picture. so sweet. so innocent…

And back to reality!

How can you not love this face!?!

After being in doors pretty much all day and the fact that I couldnt keep the little crazy one in the house anymore, we went out back for some fresh air.
Of course the faces kept coming!

Here is a little brotherly love

hehehehh they crack me up!!

Daddy trying to get some loves fro his lil man.
These two are so much a like that its scary.

hehehehe. I am not too sure what they were saying to each other. but check out Christopher face!!
It gets better…. (look at next image)

A Face only a mother can love heheheeh. I think he was trying to make a pig sound!

Don’t let this cute face fool you.. he is a monster in disguise. He was trying to cheeze at me as he was trying to escape and run away…

..but mommy is a little faster and sometimes a little smarter. I got him distracted but trying to find the plane in the sky. He kept looking for his balloon that he lost a few months ago.
Now, tell me how a kid can remember something like that but they have the HARDEST time remembering the “rules”??

This is one of my greatest feelings in the world. I love it when the kids hold my hand, but I think Christopher has the best hand holding experience. He holds on like he never wants to let go. You can feel how small and sweet he is. Makes me feel so special. If I could I would never let go. Figuratively speaking of course! A womans gotta pee in peace at times!

YIKES! its me!! I had a hard day and you can SO see it. Gosh, I hate pictures of me.
look at me! I look like a buck-tooth… something! Now.. my first reaction was to of course DELETE this image. My poor kids have a momma that looks like this?!!
This has got to be the fastest way to make yourself depressed. Another reason why I love being behind the camera. So i dont have to see images like this of me!!
All joking aside, i dont mind, as long as its my good side (still trying to find it) and I have makeup on, my hair somewhat done, and in clothes that flatter me, not fatten me up!

Even worse than that other one is THIS one. A profile PICTURE of me.. ohh good lord!
Christopher looks disguested with me hehehehe. I could kiss that lil booger all day though!

Well we are almost done with my day.

Look what I found outside on our porch.
Now, I am not an outdoors gal. i like being outdoors, as long as there are no bugs bothering me, its not cold, not hot, I have my sunglasses and I dont have to touch anything. heheheeh wow, I sound like a great person, huh?!?
Well, one thing for sure, you wont find me touching much of “wildlife”. I have no problems telling others to touch it and as a kid, I was a bug grabbing, tree climbing, bike riding fool. What happens to us as we get older? It sucks! At times I miss the free living, world full of interesting things. I remember the best feeling was just running around and twirling in fluffy skirts that could go as high as I can spin. Now, I get simple satisfaction from a house that is quiet and a snickers bar!

anywho, look at my froggy. I even picked it up and was all kinds of holding it! I was so proud of myself!

I did keep waiting for it to jump towards my face. If that would have happened, you all would have heard me SCREAM!

Oh So Cute…..

His (good side) funny faces and loves to mommy

Matty got this hat from a friend and wanted me to do his “Mug Shots”
I took one pic and he kept telling me, ok now this side and then this side..
So cute he is!

And finally lilly shows up, but she is so much like her mom that, that too, is scary.
She was not ready to have her picture taken. So this is what I got.

And when she was ready…. I got loves!!

I love my kids! they make me addicted to chocolate more than I think is natural, but over all, I love them all so much. It’s so neat to look at them and see a little bit of me in each of them. its all having mulitple personalities. Maybe that is why moms are so nuts! We really do have multiple WALKING personalities! eheheheh

I hope you did not get too bored with a sneak peek into my day. It was nice to be able to capture my kids as they are. No rules, no trying to get that perfect picture, just being real!
